Day 39

So today was all about Amabile. Tomorrow is our 25th anniversary gala at Centennial Hall and we had rehearsals all day with a full day of rehearsals tomorrow and then our performance in the evening. I will miss the hockey game but that's okay cause I think it will be too stressful to watch.

Day 38

So my bathroom is almost done. We still need to repaint the cupboards and buy new hardware for them. Tristan also still needs to caulk and seal the tiles on the wall and the absence of a toilet makes it not too functional as a bathroom as of yet but it is just sooooo pretty. I feel like it's so grown up compared to our usual decorating attempts. My Dad did an awesome job! Oh and Tristan his helper monkey did some stuff I guess.

Tonight we went to see Disney on Ice presents Princess Classics and it was awesome! Violet looks tired in the pics though cause it didn't start until bedtime.

Yesterday we took Cooper Tubing and he loved it! I went Friday and knew that we just had to take Cooper. He couldn't get enough of it and we couldn't have asked for a better day 3 degrees outside! Some people were going down in just sweatshirts. Not us of course, we were still bundled up but we had a ton of fun.

Day 33

This morning I downloaded The Princess and the Frog for the kids. There was too much of a glare off my laptop in the family room so they drew the curtains and watched it together on Cooper's bed. It was too cute!

Day 32

Violet and Rory had a meeting on the floor today. Violet drew her a picture and was showing it to her.

Day 31

Tonight we went Tubing and what a blast it was! I was too afraid to be taking pictures so this is all I got. I took a picture of myself being pulled up the hill but it was way to cheesy. I can't wait to take Cooper. He will totally love it! I think April got better pics so check out her blog.

Day 30

So tonight is a big night in our house. The men's hockey team are playing against Switzerland. We are all physched and we have lots of snacks for the game. I was determined to get a decent family photo of us in matching Team Canada gear and I was pretty successful.

The bathroom is coming along nicely. Today we discovered several different wallpapers underneath the mirror. One of which really looks like it was put up when the house was built in 1977. Can you pick the oldest paper? LOL

Day 28

Today was Shrove Tuesday. We obviously had pancakes for dinner but Cooper had them for lunch at school so he refused to eat them. He had a peanut butter sandwich while the rest of us had pancakes. They were okay but since we were all out of corn syrup. I had to use maple syrup on them which I hate. Uggh! Note to self. BUY MORE CORN SYRUP!!!

Day 27

Today was Family Day so we had the day off. We signed up for the family skate at the JLC. Cooper thought it was so cool skating where the London Knights skate. He whipped around the ice for an hour. Violet did a little better today but still isn't really interested in skating.

Day 26

I didn't think I would have anything to put up today. Trissy and I went to dinner and a movie and I didn't take any pics today but when we got home, Violet was up because she has a cold and couldn't breathe. I got a cute pic of her lying in our bed but I'll post it tomorrow because now I am really too tired.

Day 25

This morning Cooper had hockey and my dad let me use his lens to take some pics of Cooper since I don't have one that will go across a hockey rink. It didn't do much good today though since Cooper's heart just wasn't in it. You can see from the pics that he was tired and not in to practicing. He did however score 5 goals in their scrimmage but by that point I had given up taking pictures of him.

Day 24

Today we had a Valentine's Day party. I made chocolate mint cupcakes for snack this afternoon and Cooper and Violet helped. They also enjoyed licking the spoons. Today's blog challenge was an easy one, "loved one". Mine is my kids because I love them the most!

Day 23

Today was Cooper's friendship party/Valentine's Party at school. I tried to rock as a Mom and got the coolest Valentines from Stampin Up. They are boxes that I filled with those heart shaped candies with the sayings on them. The girls got pink ones and the boys got blue. After Cooper got home I got to see his stash of Valentines that he got. He was a good big brother and shared his suckers etc. with his little sister. Those kids ate all of the candy in 10 minutes. No wonder they didn't care about eating dinner.

Day 22

Today we noticed a bruise on Cooper's eyelid. No idea how it got there and he has no memory of banging it hard enough to bruise it but it's definitely there. Cooper also built snow castles outside today. It's freezing out but my kids can outlast anybody outside in the snow. We also got a delivery of some Naartjie today for the kids and Violet was having fun twirling in her new dress.

Look at my little bumblebee! The kids had lots of fun today goofing around and being silly. I did have a chance to get Cooper to stop for a bit and sign his Valentines for his classmates. He only did the boys valentines today but tomorrow I'll get him to do the girls. There are 21 kids in his class so I knew he wouldn't be up to doing them all at once. I got Cooper's valentines from Stampin Up. They are so cute and they fold up in to boxes that I will fill with candies. I'll take pics of them when I'm finally done assembling them.

Day 19

This morning Violet had a playdate with Addison. The girls enjoyed some timbits and playing in Violet's room. Little girls are so cute! Tristan also began tearing the bathroom apart. Yay!!!
